Not so Cavalier

Yesterday was a bad day. After being sent home from work ill I decided to bake and got out all my supplies before I realised noone was at home, which in other words means there probably won't be a lighter to light the gas oven. This should have been something I thought of first, but having literally just moved from a house which didn't need a lighter to do this, it didn't even occur to me.
So after sulking for a little bit (I figured out later I could have just lit something with the gas hob, which honestly just upset me more) I packed Izzie in the car to take her a walk - but we didn't get that far as I drove straight into the curb and burst my tyre. Thank god I wasn't alone because even though I can change a tyre, I had no idea where the spare was on my new car.

Izzie was there however to cheer me up


so we snuggled up and got some icecream to make us feel better.

So I didn't get any baking done today, hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
